I assess the needs of each tutee, and tailor my tutoring style to his/her specific needs. I make sure to approach each session with enthusiasm and positivity, pointing out a tutee's strengths as well as his/her weaknesses. I am very flexible with the needs of my tutees and I am willing to work with him/her on whichever assignments or needs he/she may have. I believe the relationship between tutor and tutee must be one of mutual respect, and my goal will always be to empower my tutees to perform at their absolute best ability.

Hobbies

In my free time I enjoy to paint and draw as well as to read and write. I love to write short stories and my favorite author is David Sedaris! I also enjoy public speaking and debate; in high school, I was Vice President of the Model United Nations team, Captain of the Policy Debate team, and Sergeant at Arms of the Speech Club. At UVa, I am a student leader in multiple organizations. One I have a particular passion for is the Community Honor Fund, which combats predatory lending practices by offering micro-loans and free financial coaching.
