Gabriel W.
Private tutor in Charlottesville, VA
Education
B.A. In Mathematics and M.A. in Theoretical Physics from UC Berkeley. Currently a PhD student at University of Virginia Charlottesville
Experience
As a graduate student instructor at UC Berkeley from 2004-2008, I gathered extensive experience teaching mathematics and physics in a classroom setting, teaching courses ranging from “Physics for Future Presidents” ( a course for non-science majors), to advance courses for Physics Majors. In addition, I have tutored a wide range of students via my work as a department tutor at UC Berkeley, and as a private tutor in the Bay area, working with middle and high school students on math and science as well as AP and SAT test preparation. Recently, I gained valuable experience in SAT test strategies and preparation while working at Catalyst, a major test prep I want to be a tutor because it's fun!

Besides math and physics, I also have a lifelong interest in music. I've played the piano all my life, and I'm currently studying voice and choral conducting. I was just accepted to Indiana University's Choral Conducting program, which I plan to attend next fall
