Experience
I’ve tutored for over ten years and have experience teaching chemistry at the undergraduate, high school, and middle school levels. I currently teach high school chemistry and medical chemistry here in Albemarle County. As an undergrad, I worked on a variety of research projects ranging from physical chemistry to organic synthesis. I also spent a summer completing research at Vanderbilt. I continued on to graduate school where I completed astrochemical research. I worked in neurology for two years before deciding to return to UVA to pursue my dream job as a teacher. I was an NCAA Division I athlete and coached high school cross-country for four years. I understand how difficult it can be to balance schoolwork and athletics.
