Education
I graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology in 2009 and pursued a Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Duke University, which I received in 2013. I am currently a fourth year medical student at the University of Virginia School of Medicine and will be starting residency training in the field of Internal Medicine in the fall of 2018.
Experience
I have over 8 years of experience tutoring students and adults of all ages in a variety of subjects, particularly in the Spanish, Math and Science and SAT Test Prep. I started out tutoring Algebra to middle school students and was a peer tutor at my university as well as a volunteer tutoring program coordinator. I would love the opportunity to continue to enrich your proficiency in Spanish, Math and Science. I love sharing tips and tricks to remembering certain grammar concepts or verb conjugations, and over the years, I have built an arsenal of helpful material for students. I have always loved languages, and studying at La Universidad San Pablo in Madrid really solidified my love of Spanish. I love what I do and enjoy passing on everything that I have learned academically. Tutoring is important because it gives me the opportunity to develop a customized plan for each student in order for them to combat their weaknesses and succeed academically.
