Previous tutoring experience I would like to become a tutor because I enjoy helping other students. I finding it rewarding to see that moment when the student understands the material and is able to apply it to a problem. I have had a lot of experience and relevant coursework that makes me qualified to tutor in certain subjects. I have taken several music classes, played in award winning bands and orchestras. I have also taken numerous psychology classes and several math classes at the University of Virginia. In addition, I have been learning German since my Freshman year in high school. I currently tutor high school students with Upward Bound as well.
