Hobbies

For the past four years, I have lived and worked in Guangzhou, China. I love traveling, trying new foods, reading for fun, live music, and animals of all shapes and sizes. I firmly believe that all students are capable of learning and that it is the job of educators to meet students where they're at. No one person processes information, expresses themselves and demonstrates their abilities in the same way and therefore it is imperative to individualize teaching to meet the needs of all learners. I love working with students of all ages! For the past several years I've been mostly working with middle and high school students, but also enjoy the energy and spirit of younger children as well. I am available to meet in my home or close by the Barracks Rd, Cherry Avenue, and downtown area. If you would prefer to meet and check out my space/see if I'm a good fit before proceeding, let me know and we can do so free of charge.
