| Experience: | I am a second year at the University of Virginia planning to major in economics and cognitive science with a minor in physics. I went to Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology, where I was in National Honor Society and maintained a 4.0 GPA.
My Math SAT score was 800, my Verbal SAT score was 770, and my Writing SAT score was 730. I scored a 5 on the AP exams for U.S. History, U.S. Government, Chemistry, English Literature, and Calculus BC.
In college, I have taken multivariable calculus, differential equations, physicss, and neuropsychology. The courses I am currently enrolled in linear algebra, cognitive psychology, microeconomics, and statistics.
I am proficient with using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
I would be a good tutor because I am very organized and have a good understanding of the subjects. I would prepare for each meeting to make sure I knew the information well and to present the material clearly. |
| Hobbies: | I like astronomy, movies, and volunteering. I went to the Gulf Coast last March for a service trip to aid with disaster relief. I am also involved with Sustained Dialogue, a group at UVA that discusses race relations. |
