Hello! I have 7 years of experience as an elementary homeroom teacher. I have taught all subjects in Grades 2, 3, 4, and 5. I particularly love to teach Reading and Writing. I am currently studying at UVA to be a Reading Specialist and English Language Learners teacher. I can informally assess a student in our first tutoring session and create an instructional plan and lessons for our further tutoring sessions. I can also support instruction and homework for the student's classes in school. My teaching licenses include: Commonwealth of Virginia: Elementary PreK-6, English 6-12 In 2014, I will be eligible for Virginia Reading Specialist K-12 and English as a Second Language PreK-12 Licenses.
